Ph.D., graduated from the Department of Pulp and Paper Engineering of Northwest Light Industry Institute in 1986 and received his Ph.D. from Nagoya University in Japan in 1994. He is currently the dean of the School of Chemistry and Environmental Engineering of Hubei University of Technology and the special professor of "Chutian Scholars". He has been awarded the title of outstanding young and middle-aged experts in Hubei Province and Hubei famous teacher.

He is experienced in production technology and management of paper factory.He is mainly responsible for the establishment of  high consistency refining  theory, and leads the research team engaging in research, development and on-site process commissioning and optimization.
